The fact that it was Free to Play had already turned me down on this game even though I was extremely excited for it. Now there's no platinum? Yeah, going to put my "not money" where my mouth is and pass... pity.

The trophies sound interesting enough (a little bit chest focused but whatever 😄) and the game is free as far as I know... so I don’t see any reason to complain. If the game is fun we at least have a few trophies and 100% to add to our list 😊

That's right. Whatever the trophies, If its not abusive in any way, the gameplay is fun and thats It.

Maybe people just want a sort of reward for putting effort into a game, which might take some time to finish?

I can understand people wanting a plat for a game that might be decent, when games which take no effort whatsoever (ratalaika) are gifting plats for free basically.

Thats true, Onigiri never got any trophies and that hurt pretty bad tbh. Never ended up playing it on PS4 cos it never got any trophies.

I can understand the disappointment in there being no platinum trophy but a far greater disappointment is the actual trophy list. 

For those that haven't seen the in-game achievements for Genshin Impact (you can check them out on the Genshin Impact wikis), there's a wide range of objectives ranging from combat feats (like freezing 4 enemies within 2 seconds), to recipe collection, time trials, completing certain floors in Sprial Abyss with no-damage, co-op boss battles, etc. 

Basically none of that is going to receive representation with this current trophy list and that is such a shame. Instead we get to complete some busy work and have our 100% handed to us like it's nothing. I'm looking forward to playing regardless and I'm sorry for being grouchy but I think it's perfectly valid to express disappointment in this weak trophy list...

Not sure if they do, but I don't think so. You can place your own persistent markers on the map so you know which ones you've opened.

Aw shucks, that's a bummer. 

Altough, it doesn't my lower my excitement that much as I've been waiting to play this for a long time! 

Will definitely try to 100% it, if it turns out to be a satisfactory and fun co-op experience 😄.

Admittedly, the game not having a Platinum is a bit sad and feels like a missed opportunity. However, that's not going to stop me from playing it.

 

Remember guys, we weebs are here for the waifus not for the trophies. Ask yourself, what''s more important between these two?
