"They Call Me The Track Master" trophy question

I had a question concerning the mastering of tracks.

 

I've completed almost everything of Category E in the Career Mode already, and mastered sectors and all corners in most events, highlighting the track layout completely in green. Yet, I've only been able ot master one track so far, the trophy popped unexpectedly during a race. I may have mastered another without realizing it, but I haven't even gotten three so far because I haven't unlocked that trophy yet.

 

Can anyone explain me what the requirements are to "master" a track in Project Cars 3?

You have to drive on the ideal line the intire track and master all corners. You see that in the left corner of the screen.

Thanks! I didn't notice the corner tracker and the line tracker at the bottom of the radar. I assumed that you automatically nail the corner line if you pull off the corner itself as well, which is not the case.

 

I guess this thread can be closed down in that case.

I remember mastering tracks with only doing the corners. At least it was sometimes shown at the end of the race in 'Mastering abc x times", while only getting 99% of the line.

 

Don't know if this is a bug of the early versions or wanted by SMS.
