You also need to be available at a specific date and time. So why not create a contest where you can play the games you like, at the time that suits you and win some money at the same time? I have been thinking, is there is a way to win money from your trophies? So, to try out a concept I am inviting anybody who is interesting in a little contest where you can win some money based on your trophy gathering. So let me introduce Trophy Gathering - "One for all, all for one" What? Get money on the trophies you gather How? Play any game that has trophies on PS3, PS4, PS5, Vita Rules Point system A trophy is not the same as a “trophy”. Platinum in Red Dead Redemption 2 should (and is) more worth than platinum in My Name Is Mayo. The points are therefore calculated based on how common they are on PSNProfiles. For example: The trophy “Swing You Sinner” in the game Cuphead is 31,60%. This would give you 68,4p (100-31,60). The trophy “Friends With Benefits” in the game Red Dead Redemption is 28,44%. This would give you 71,65p (100-28,44) All the trophies you gather will be your total point. Also, for any Platinum trophy you take a bonus will be added. The same goes for a game you get 100% on. On the 30/11 23:59 the Trophy Logs will be locked with your gathered trophies and the % on how common they are and your total score is calculated. Setup A contest duration is a month. Each month a new contest starts. All you gathered trophies will be calculated as described above. This is your score for the month. Prize money The total prize pot for November is $100, which be divided among all players that have earning trophies. For example. 10 Players sign up for the contest. At the end of the month a total of 12 500 Points has been gathered from all 10 Players. Player 1 has earned 2 000 of these points and has then earned $16 (2 000/12 500). Player 2 has earned 1 000 of these points and has then earned $8 (1 000/12 500). and so on. So as long has you have gathered 1 trophy you will win! Only players who has earned $10 or more will get them sent to them through PayPal. Amounts below $10 will roll over to the next month and when you get $10 or more the money will be sent to you. So in short: The goal Is to run this contest in November and in December. I will then evaluate and see how it played out and what the interest was for the concept and see what we do for 2021! Have to admit, after Sony Rewards stopped paying me PSN credit for trophies, I lost a bit of motivation for trophy hunting. Maybe this will reinvigorate my interest.
