Tip for Weapon Smith if you messed it

I dismantled the GJR-666 on my run since I thought by reading the guide that the one sold by Irida at level 3 was enough.

 

To solve this and save time, I tried to simply start a new game at the Seed of Evil DLC. You appear with quite some weapons, some of them still being able to be upgraded.

 

Upgrading one of this weapons to level 3 in the Ark after the first 2 fights counts for the trophy as I unlocked it with the GJR that Dux starts with upgraded at level 2 (not sure if it’s random). Some of the weapons are already at level 3 and these do not count for the trophy, but they are usually ones found early on the game.

 

You can also potentially backtrack to any area of the game. Much easier to start again in case you dismantled a very end game weapon.

 

Do note I also upgraded every DLC weapon in my original run but I think they are not needed anyway.
