Popular Post tony_snake_24
Standing up against a full team in the last of us multiplayer on my own and and killing all 4 in one single play when they came running to me to gang up since they were 4 vs 1. My team started losing pretty badly so they left and it was just me vs them. I lost the match but I got 12 kills in the end. Max Payne 3 100%? There's got to be more but I can't think of any right now Edited October 19, 2022 by tony_snake_24
Popular Post AK-1138
I don't know, basically learning the English language by way of a game has got to be up there. So this one summer, I got this game; the first heavily dialogue-based game I ever played. Starting out, I could pick out the odd word here and there that I'd been able to memorize from the very basic classes from school, and basically had the gist of the story from the manual. Every time an unfamiliar word cropped up, I consulted the dictionary I'd gotten for my last birthday. Between the game itself, and the, ahem, walkthrough I consulted to get through the game (I've long since come to terms with the fact that although I love adventure games, I don't have the patience to play them blind) in four weeks I was damn near fluent, and remained years ahead of the rest of my class for the entirety of my schoolin' days. And who says games don't teach valuable life skills? ...And what was this unintentional bit of edutainment called, you ask? Why, only that noirish tale of sprouting and skellingtons, Grim freaking Fandango! (Concordantly, I also picked up a few choice Spanish phrases, but that don't quite count.) It's in my trophy cabinet for a reason... though honestly, that reason is more to do with it being a near-flawless masterpiece in every regard, but still! Come to think of it, the remaster is the primary reason I bought a PS4 so soon after getting the 3... So obviously, what you can take away from this post is... schools are OBSOLETE and could be replaced by games and other artistic media and the world would be all the better for it! We don't need no education, aside from learning how to avoid double negatives like that.

NxtDoc
Have to be honest here, former primary Xbox player here. My best gaming achievement has to be leaving Xbox 2 years ago after acquiring nearly 305,000 Gamerscore over the years. Due to their disgusting business direction. And in that time, acquiring a quite a bit of trophies in a short time. Honorary Mention, Platinuming EA MMA. cris3f
I finished 3 times Super Mario 64 (all 120 stars, the 2nd because the save got erased from the cartridge, the 3rd for one of my nephews). It's hard but rewarding. The camera is tricky on the last 2 levels, but movement and precision is superb. Still my favorite platform game of all time, even and because of its age. The 5 Mario games (64, Sunshine, Galaxy 1 and 2, and Odyssey) are hands down in the top 10 platform games of all time. I have to boot it again, hope the last save it's still there.

OmriStyle27
I've got to say that I'm new to the PS4 and the trophy hunting world but my biggest achievement on PS4 has to be my Rocket League 100%, currently standing at 0.73% completion rating, and It takes some pretty good skills to get so that's why I'm proud of it. (I also wrote a trophy guide for this game on PSNProfiles) But in my opinion, my biggest gaming achievement overall is that I've completed 175 games across 8 different platforms since I started playing video games (that was 6 years ago). so in quick calculation that's about 29 games a year, and with a girlfriend, a job, and school I think that's pretty admirable. Trumpet_Boi_208
Wow, this thread became more popular than I anticipated lol. Anyway, one of my two biggest gaming achievements is getting #1 on a course in Pac-Man: Championship Edition 2 on xbox one. If you don’t believe me, take this link and scroll through my activity, and you’ll find the screenshot as proof. https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Profile?xr=mebarnav&rtc=1 The other is me getting the platinum for WipEout: Omega Collection, which I consider to be the most difficult platinum I’ve ever earned. I’m quite proud of this, as I’ve had little experience with racers, with the exception of a little Mario Kart here and there, but apart from that, I don’t play racers. I found this game in my library and decided to go for it, as I’m a bit masochistic like that. Holy, crap. That platinum was hard, especially Beat Zico: HD, and Elite Campaign Legend. Thanks for showing off your proudest gaming achievements to the world to fill my curiosity!

Popular Post dieselmanchild
Before I got into trophy hunting around 2.5 years ago, I used to play this online MMORPG called RuneScape. I’d wager that most of you have heard of it and, like me, probably even spent a chunk of your childhood playing online with friends. Because let’s be honest RS was the shit. Anyways.. before I got a PlayStation, RuneScape was basically the only game I had ever really played. I started in RuneScape Classic (the potato version of the game that came out in like early 2000s) and played off and on over the next 15 years or so, often quitting for 2-3 years at a time but always finding my way back. Well long story short, throughout my RS “career” I achieved a lot. I was one of the first few hundred players to obtain a Trimmed Completionist Cape and had around 3.5 billion XP (out of a max 5.4 billion) on my account when I walked away. I was ranked around 300th on the leaderboards on a game with over 200 million registered accounts which ain’t too bad! One day around 3.5 years ago I just logged out and never came back. I met some amazing people online, but none of my real life friends played anymore, and the game had long since changed into something I no longer recognized. For those not in the know, that game is now completely overrun with micro-transactions, and there are now thousands of players with billions of XP because you can just buy everything with real life cash now. I just wasn’t finding it fun anymore. After that I took a break from gaming for a year or so. I never expected to start trophy hunting, but after buying an old PS3 off Craigslist so I could try Skyrim, I ended up here. ? I’ve been having a blast trophy hunting because I literally missed out on 3 generations of console games and so I’m here experiencing all the classics for the first time ever. I can’t say for sure, but at this point I don’t see myself ever going back tbh. Not only am I getting older, but PlayStation has its hooks in me now. And PS5 is coming boys!! Popular Post AyAerith
Great thread. I love this question and to be honest I am never prepared to answer it. I've been gaming for 25 years now and have experienced so much, but what are the greatest things I've done? Here's a few: In 2005, I was part of a Halo 2 clan that reached level 32 pre-reset. We were playing against the best players in the world, most of which went on to play in the MLG circuit. I wanted to go pro myself, but my parents were unsupportive. Probably for the best as I wasn't a top 100 player or anything and e-sport females were unheard of back then. I ended up playing Halo 2 into the ground, nearly 5,000 estimated hours and who knows how many thousands of games. This was pretty much the peak gaming moment for me and sparked my competitive nature. In 2007 I completed Hexic HD, Gears of War (pre-Annex), and Call of Duty 3. All of these are Xbox exclusive completions and crazy skill/time commitments. These are three of my hardest completions of all time and I'm still proud of them. Oh to be a teenager without a full time job again... In 2008 I reached top 25 on the Call of Duty 4 kill leaderboard, with 147,000 kills in seven months. I had to play an unhealthy amount of time each day to gain ground once I reached the top 100, and I quit the day I reached 25th. To follow up, I reached 26th in the World at War kill leaderboards for Domination before getting my first full time job in December 2008. Never could keep up with the leaderboards after that between full time school and work. I was the first person to completed both NASCAR 08 and NASCAR 09 on Xbox. To this day I think these are the only two games I have been the first person to complete out of 700ish. I've also completed every NASCAR game except '15 and the most recent entry, most of these games are 8/10 in difficulty or above. I played '15 on PC and the servers are gone, so I'll never get it. Plus the entries are getting less and less in quality so I haven't even wanted to pick up 2020's entry. In 2010/2011 I completed both Serious Sam games: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter. Both are 10/10 difficulty and "Serious" has to be up there as one of the hardest difficulties of all time. I wanted to complete Serious Sam 3 BFE for the trifecta but that game plays like absolute crap on PS3, and doesn't have good control schemes at all. Why the hell was R1 as shoot so popular on PS3? It's garbage. Maybe not the most impressive, but one of my favorite accomplishments is completing every Guitar Hero game (minus the red-headed Live stepchild). Guitar Hero 3 was crazy and is my proudest completion ever. I spent months tearing up online to get 500 wins without boosting, much less the skill needed for every other achievement. Smash Hits is a close second on difficulty with the insane single achievement requirements, even on guitar. I finished them this year by playing Fight Fire With Fire for over 12 hours in practice mode to get the final achievement. I've stepped away from hard and challenging games since then because I don't find them exhilarating anymore. I get frustrated easier than I did back then and just don't have the patience for stuff like that. The most recent challenging thing I have done is winning a game of Eliminator in Forza Horizon 4 without acquiring car drops. Eliminator is a battle royal with cars, and yes it is as crazy as it sounds. So much luck and skill went into winning a game alone, and I had to do it without any drops. I'll be honest with you guys: I started crying tears of joy when I did it because I never thought I would get it. That feeling of pride and accomplishment rarely comes nowadays because of my shift towards less stressful experiences. Lots of other small things I could list but I don't want to sound like a braggart or like my experiences are better than others. I enjoy reading this thread and look forward to more cool responses

"Oh i hope you kill that a$$hole." etc etc. she's often disappointed when i stop for the night cause she wants to know what happens next. its a cool bonding experience and its the highlight of my day. Not lame at all. In fact, when I’m playing games which is in the front room, sometimes my mother comes along when she’s not busy and just sits down to chill and watch me play. She’ll also make small comments on some games I play saying ‘oh this game reminds me of Super Mario back in the day’ because at the time I was playing a side scroller. thefourfoldroot
Games aren’t hard these days, and I’ve had decades to get good, so my biggest achievement was probably something when I was a kid. Popular Post Evil_Joker88
Getting the Platinum of Gran Turismo 5 is the hardest i got so far. 15 hours of training on Vettel's Nürburgring and 18 hours on Vettel's Suzuka was really stressful. I'm glad i made the AI driver win all B-Spec races too otherwise i'd have to finish all A-Spec including the endurance races again ? I'm very happy i finished several games for more or all trophies from the time of my early ps3 days when i didn't care for trophies. Because they are good games mostly and more difficult what i chose to play for most part after taking trophy difficulty into account when thinking about what to play. And thanks to psnp i met a few nice people with whom i can talk about my favorite topic ?

I adored the multiplayer for both of these games, it’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had gaming, more so on CoD4. I don’t think many games these days will come close to the same excitement for when it comes to playing. I reached just inside the top 100 on the score leaderboard for CoD4 on PS3 during 2009. I loved mixing up game modes between going for score and kills, I’m pretty sure I had around the same amount of kills as you by the time I was finished Oh to be young again ? Popular Post D-E-U-S-X
Oh boi! GTA Online: I've achieved world records in 245 different races in all classes (cars, motorbikes, planes, jets, helicoptors, boats, bicycles and even a golf cart). I'm rank 2000+ with 300 days playtime. Nothing trophy related was as hard as beating world records in GtaO to me. Minecraft(Java) On a solo suvival map (playtime of 70 days) I've build a medival like city with the size of 125.000 square meters. It is impossible to imagine the size of the city with only one screenshot so if someone of you like minecraft I can add you to a Ps4 group for pics. Spore Pc I beat the Grox in space age. Took a long time to conquer thousands of systems to annihilate them completely. Dark Souls SL1 Playthrough. You’re very close to getting the plat, think about those who didn’t get the chance to do the online trophies before they shut down the servers, for you it’s still obtainable - you got this! First off, when I said "probably not my greatest moment" I meant the Dark Souls thing. I just placed that part poorly. But thank you, pimp! I will keep going ?. The only race I have left is one on Chenghou Project. Just a normal race. Those sharp turns just kill me, especially with the fact that I did most of the entire game with a third party controller because all the first party ones I had were terrible. But this little thing has lasted me a long time, got 6 axis and everything and it only cost $10. And I got to like 31.53 seconds on that course of the 30.82 of the Beat Zico trophy, I honestly thought I was gonna do it that time. Spacey_Dweeb
I haven't done anything super special, but earning the Bloodborne platinum on my old account was a big moment for me. I had taken a long break from gaming and essentially did nothing in the ps3/xbox360 era because of full-time college and full-time work and young kids. So getting a PS4 and beating Bloodborne was a big "I've still got it!" moment. Echoed later with earning Becomes the Master trophy in Titanfall 2 when I started trying to hunt trophies. HoorayForTyler
Holding records for fastest 100% in multiple games; I only ever speedrun games that I thoroughly enjoy though, and it feels good to pick apart a game and learn routes for the quickest way to get each trophy. Some records I hold include BioShock, BioShock 2, Fallout 3/New Vegas, Bloodborne, Destroy All Humans, Wolfenstein 2009, and several more. I’m still going for records, so my list will grow.
