On which playthrough should I do the DLCs?

I have completed the 1st playthrough and have progressed to around chapter 6 of TVHM at level 35. My predicament is that I want to do the DLC trophies and simultaneously earn xp towards levelling my character to level 50, but I don't know which playthrough it's best to do this on. My main questions are:

Do you get significantly more xp for completing missions on TVHM?

Would it take a lot longer to do the DLC trophies on TVHM?

You won't get much xp by doing the dlc's in normal mode, because the cap is way lower than your current level, keep playing on True vault hunter and you'll reach 50 before finishing everything. On True vault hunter oasis and torgue dlc's cap out at lvl 30, while big hunt and tiny tina's cap out at 35. Completing on normal is way faster, because enemies will be like lv10~20, but you won't get much xp

If you want the DLC trophies quickly, then get some high level Playthrough 2 gear and return to Playthrough 1.

If you want XP but don't care about the DLC trophies being a PITA to get, then stick to Playthrough 2 and look up a decent build for your Character.
