Easy Platinum with Glitch (GUIDE)

Hello PlayStation Plus people! I want to clear some things up, so there is no confusion:

This glitch allows you to be virtually invincible to any attack. The only bad side to this is that you won’t be able to collect Geo, but this isn’t an issue in the endgame.

This means you can also finish the game’s biggest hurdle, the Pantheons totally unscathed.

 

Here’s how to do it in text form:

STEP 1: Put down a Dream Gate anywhere.

STEP 2: Go to any place with water and a ledge.

STEP 3: The tricky bit: you need to walk off the ledge above the water, and press the touchpad button on pretty much the same frame as he

walks off.

STEP 4: You will be falling with your map open. Now JUST before you touch the water, close the map with the touchpad . You will sink down to the bottom.

STEP 5: Open your map again, and while it is open jump out of the water to the ledge.

STEP 6: Still with the map

open, charge your Crystal Dash with L2 and once it is fully charged close your inventory.

STEP 7: This is the trickiest part; While holding L2, hold Triangle+Up to teleport, and once he briefly flashes white, let go of all buttons right then. Test it on some nearby enemies.

 

If you failed, your screen will go white. You need to work on the timing.

 

 

Some things to note:
You cannot do this glitch at the start of the game.
You will need the Dream Gate, the Dream Nail and the Crystal Dash in order to do the glitch.
-The Crystal Dash can be found at the end of Crystal Peak, pretty early into the game.

-The Dream Nail which you will use to collect the essence is given to you in the Resting Grounds after inspecting the Dreamer statues.
You will be teleported into a “dream” and at the end you will get it.

-The Dream Gate is given by the Seer NPC in the Resting Grounds after getting 900 Essence.
Essence can be found in the world after using the dream nail on Essence trees. You can also get a bunch of them by defeating “ghost”
bosses around the map.
!!!This means you’ll need to beat around half the game “legit”. This half is not very challenging though, so don’t fret!

I know the video can be a bit confusing to some people, so if you have any questions leave them under this!

It’s still way more fun than actually doing

those Pantheons.  

I’m hoping more people try the game with the Platinum being so available. It’s truly a masterpiece.

Agree, great game.  You just have to play the game to get to the point of doing the glitch.

Given the embarrassing amount of crying about hard or even slightly inconvenient trophies I have seen in this forum recently I'd say this game that has a 9/10 estimated difficulty rating in its guide having a way to glitch the hardest part will lead to more people picking it up as a result. The ones who want to do it legit can still do it without the glitch.

But as with fall guys there is no way to know who did it legit other than the players themselves

Is still glitch still avaiable in every version of the game? For what I know, hollow knight should also be ps+ free next month, but I don't know which version yet

Indeed it does still work, I checked it yesterday  Somebody had asked the developers, and they stated that they don’t mind the glitch and won’t patch it.

Thanks for sharing this! I doubt I’d have the skill or patience to plat this otherwise. Regardless though, I always wanted to give it a shot. This is the year that I discovered metroidvanias, and I’ve been slowly working my way towards playing Hollow Knight which I hear is pretty much the crown jewel of this genre. From what I’ve seen, it looks absolutely sublime. Now that it’s coming to PS+, it seems like a better time than ever to check this one out.?

So?

The only way to know who earned a trophy legitimately by themselves is if you sit next to them when they do it... Otherwise, it could have been their neighbour, their father, their kid or whoever else. The account could be a team account or they could have paid somebody to do it via shareplay or whatever... So collecting trophies for anyone else but yourself and comparing trophy lists with strangers on the internet just doesn't make sense. And if you only collect them for yourself, it is enough if you know which of them are legitimate and which not.

Yes, I was able to use this glitch when I went for the plat 2 weeks ago. I was also playing on my PS5.

Great game honestly but that last pantheon is ridiculous, without the glitch, I would have never cared to do it. However, what I like is that you need to play the majority of the game before it can be used. White castle was the hardest part of the game for me, past 4 hours to complete it
