Popular Post Rick_Sanchez Posted October 10, 2013 Popular Post Share Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) When you're making the glitch room, set the number of players to two and to start the game set it to one player, then you must insert password, I also suggest changing the name of the room to something else. After that set it up so you can have split screen active and fly with objective active.The best way for points is on Capture the Flag on Fortress in the Badlands with fly with objective active, you can get between 8,000 - 10,000 points per hour like this. You can even earn kills in this room, you can use Eternal's guide for where to earn the most kills with each weapon.If you have everything you wan't set up for your room (game mode, map, etc) highlight ranked room on the first tab and press X, O, LEFT on the d-pad at the same time. If it worked, you will be taken to the farthest right screen to start the game (but don't do this yet.) Then press RIGHT LEFT on the D-Pad and start your game. This will set the room to ranked but keep your room at 1 player min to start and two players max. After the game starts, press start on a second controller so no one can join.This means that you can boost your kills yourself with a second controller and have spawn timer at 0 for instant spawn.Here are some confirmed things about this room:You can earn points for rank up.Kills for weapons count so you can get your 1000 kills with each weapon/vehicle/turret (save for the knife which needs 500 and swarm missiles which needs 2000, and jeep which needs 750)Can earn 8K~ points per hr using the flag/warhawk/fortress method.Can earn medals and badges, they won't pop up in split screen and will take time to show up as you earned them.earning points with multiple screens does not tally up total to add to your total.Basically you can earn the platinum completely solo outside of the clan trophies.All credit to VirtualNight for discovering this glitch.Edit 1: made the guide more detailedEdit 2: clarified a serious error on the guide that caused confusion on how to do the glitch. Previously there was an issue that came up a few months ago that European players could not make the room, the issue has been resolved based on VirtualNight confirming it now works again. Since im not by my ps3 I cant try it yet but do you know if it will work on 4 player split screen? Also do you know if I can Invite another player? like my 2nd ps3 and do split screen with that as well. Awesome thanks for confirming that for me I have 4 ps3s and warhawk copies, now if I can borrow some controlers from my local friends ill have some serious boosting goin on! If you can confirm that you can earn medals in glitch rooms that would be great. I can confirm that badges do count when using your method. I haven't earned a medal yet so we'll see. Well I guess I'll have to take part of that statement back. It's only counting the kills IaR and not global kills. weeztha Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 One thing I forgot to say was using your method does work using 2 ps3s. You can set the match to 2 or more players. This way no one can join but also note that if you have the password set and say your match is set to 4 max and you have 2 ppl anyone can join it won't ask the random guy for the password. I have an alt account I can use to test it out. If you can earn medals and badges then you can self boost this game without relying on getting 8 people together or 4 ppl with 2 PS3s. They do not pop up in split screen and do take time before they show up as you earned them. I have also just confirmed that points don't add up if you earn it with multiple screens. It's pretty weird when I use 2 ps3s without split screen the badges will show up right away but doin 1 ps3 splitscreen no badges pop up on my screen... I had to wait until the next morning and when I signed back in both trophies popped together So be careful if your boosting a lot and ranking up in the same day could lead to delay in trophies and possible stacking too... The medal, badge and rank trophies generally don't pop until your stats page is updated and for mine I generally had to log back in after my stats updated for them to unlock.
