Who do you think will win the election

If Biden is elected, i  hope he'll be more friendly towards the European.

I know. Trump has been too much of a bridge burner. He's been hostile to Canada and Mexico as well. And I really dislike the thought of him having his hand on the nuclear trigger.

Biden now has the lead in Pennsylvania and Georgia, also. Hope that sticks. I want to see Trump not just lose, but lose bad. Trump has said that he won't give a concession speech if he loses... but anyway, he doesn't have to. Biden can be inaugurated with or without that. I wish Trump would just give up and stop being such a global nuisance. As a player on the international stage, he sucks.

Decision Desk HQ actually called this race for Biden yesterday. I think the mainstream media just likes to drag things out for ratings.

Gotta say, the quality memes during this debacle have really kept me sane:

Now, instead of spending my time being pissed at a far-right authoritarian, I can be pissed at a milquetoast corporate Democrat again, which is an improvement. Hopefully Dems can retake the Senate, too.

Trump has officially lost.

The real loser this cycle is the media, who relied on Trump to maintain ratings. Going to be hilarious to watch how they'll try to keep Trump in the news for the next 4 years, in order to maintain as many eyes as possible.

Probably CNN. The Senate likely won’t be decided until the run-off elections in Georgia (which will likely take place at this point) in January.

Yes, it was CNN where the current Senate numbers came from. I've been nearly constantly watching it the last few days.

Biden is no longer a "Projected Winner"... he's the President Elect now. The upshot of this is that Trump has officially lost. More than a few world leaders are pretty happy about Biden & Harris' win, and are giving them a warm welcome. As they should. The USA needs leaders who can be team players in the international community. So, things should be on the mend starting with that day in January.

As Martha Stewart would've said on The Apprentice,"You don't seem to be functioning as a member of the team, you are just not effective. So Donald, I'll say goodbye."  Trump's on the other end of the "You're Fired" now.

I’m proud of you Americans for choosing sanity, truth, and basic human decency once again. I honestly thought you were going to elect Trump again, and if he had won I wouldn’t have been the least bit surprised, sadly. But you proved me wrong and I’m glad for it. ?

In other news, check out this top tier MW2 meme about the election:

There’s no video link in the post so I have no idea how to grab it and embed it in this post. But click the link it’s worth it. ?

Rupert is one squirrely Australian, I'm sure he will pivot where he needs to so he can maintain ratings:

Unfortunately...the Associated Press doesn't call elections...which they seem to think they're in charge of.

Also unfortunately...this Election is most likely going to the Supreme Court. Al Gore was overturned not too long ago...so that is not off the table.

No matter what happens...the last 4 years have been a disaster for the United States. The Republicans have disgraced themselves. The Democrats have disgraced themselves..and the Press has relegated themselves to tabloid news. Total sh*tshow on every side of the aisle. Disgusting.

That’s the nature of elections. Sometimes you don’t have to convince people to vote for you, if you can convince them to vote against someone else. And in a two party system, well, that’s where we are at...

I bet it's a mix of both. Joe seems decent, and I like Kamala Harris also. And America needed to GTFO (Get Trump Fucking Outtathere).

We have five major parties here in Canada who are all represented in Parliament. I guess one can argue it’s better for democracy but seeing it play out the way it has in recent times, it’s really just 4 left parties vying for control and one right party. Now there have been attempts by the right to break off into even more parties (People’s Party and Wexit), but the alternative right and alternative left parties here are just fuelling radicalism in my opinion. The NDP literally have become a voice for ideological purity and hard, unsustainable socialism, while the right is becoming Diet-Trump. Sometimes more voices aren’t more productive. I guess there is greater potential to hold the government to account, but both the hard left and hard right engage in social media smear campaigns non-stop, sometimes without fact-checking their information, or slanting it heavily.

In the case of my family and I, it was definitely the latter. Biden was literally last on my list, but still far better than the alternative. Not that my vote truly matters in a solid blue state, anyway.

It's also pretty clear that if this election goes to the Supreme Court that it's Trump being a sore loser.  It was obvious this was going to happen when Trump spoke of things like "when I'm re-elected" and so on.  Doubt they would overturn it though since it's not exactly a matter of one state.  With the leads as they are now, Biden has 306 votes and Trump only 232.  But at the same time, if Trump focuses all his energy into trying to have Biden's win overturned, then that could actually be a good thing.  Why do I think that?  It's definitely also happened that a losing president has set into place policies to cause problems for the replacement before and Trump is immature enough to do that.  Such things have been very harmful in the past as well.  If Trump won't accept losing, then he's less likely to act in such a manner and that's a good thing.

At this point...I really don't care about individuals much. When I was talking about "Democrats" and "Republicans"...and I didn't clarify...I am talking strictly about the DNC and GOP entities. Not really talking about voters much.

The GOP are traditionally pro small government...so their political goals center around weakening peoples trust in anything government. (I want to be clear that I'm not trying to give you a lesson or anything like that. I'm purely stating to clarify my stance at this point in time.) So they've upped the conspiracy rhetoric to an all-time high.

The DNC are traditionally pro larger government...so their political goals center around dependency on anything government. So they've purposely targeted demographics that rely on government more for daily living...and upped the "injustice" hysteria rhetoric to an all-time high.

Both entities knew coming into the last election that the country was strongly divided. So instead of being adults and understanding and responding to the larger problem...both entities intentionally threw gasoline on the fire in exchange for the chance at more influence and power.

The press then was in their own camp...and went completely off the rails in exchange for "clicks" with hysterical headlines, omissions and outright making things up out of the clear blue on all sides.

If all three entities were thrown into a dumpsterfire in their current state today...I couldn't shed less of a tear.
