Any chance this gem could get a remaster?

So, what a great thing we have action racing stuff around and MS:PR was one of the supreme part of this genre back in the day, but I found myself playing MS:A for starters and very sadly missed to clear out the trophies of the prequel before the servers got pulled. I'd really love to have this game back alive with better visuals and stuff without changing the essence of it. What do you guys think?

It would be truly awesome, but I doubt they will do a remaster. MSPR was such a great game, I had a lot of fun playing it back in the days. It's sad that we didn't have any game with MSPR quality and gameplay on PS4... (yeah, there is Onrush but I think we are all okay with the fact that it is pure shit compared to Motorstorm series)

I'd love to test my skills and see if I can do those time trials and developer times again....but no way do I ever wan to touch that MP again. Once was more than enough.

I'm kindly asking for your apologies because I don't want to necrobump old threads, but don't want to open new ones either.

 

Having won 250 races in split-screen mode today, I just earned the trophy "Winner". I took a look at my ingame stats and I was told that I took part in 11 out of 250 races. This would mean that only races against CPU count towards "Race Fan" while "Winner" keeps track of wins across the board, including split-screen races.

 

Edit: In case you want to grind out the 250 races for "Race Fan" with a turbo controller, you can start a 1-lap-race  against the CPU on Badlands and keep R2 pressed while auto - firing X. You will finish the race in around 5 minutes and restart it automatically. I'm riding a bike and on other courses I ended up against a wall with no progress, therefore Badlands is quite a helpful choice

Not a fact, just your personal opinion. Motorstorm and Onrush are two completely different beasts, with one being about getting to the finish line whereas the other is about completing tasks while driving in a circle. Depending on the set of criteria you choose both games may outperform the other.
