No Man's Sky PS5 trophy list [HOW TO: Autopop trophies from PS4 save]

I'm soooo happy with this one, I didn't know there'll be a new trophy list. Gotta explore again!

 

Oh, btw, it's gonna be grindy as hell as you probably can't go back to version 1.00...

 

UPDATE: Thanks to @nicklesminer to point out that the whole trophy list autopops when transferring your save from PS4!

 

 

Step 1: Upload your save to the cloud using Transfer to Playstation 5 option:

 

Step 2: Insert your NMS disc or download the game from PSStore.

Step 3: Before launching the game, download the free PS5 update. You'll see the link in the main screen.

Step 4: Boot the PS5 VERSION of the game. Under all the game modes you'll see a cloud icon. Click it and download your save and let the trophies march in your screen.

Galapagos is a complete and utter joke to get and has been since NEXT, because you can just find Exotic planets (which are really common BTW) then scan and upload the only Fauna species that lives there - rinse and repeat 9 more times to get the trophy . Origins made things even easier because of the changes that HG made to the Discovery page so you now know almost exactly when and where a particular Fauna will appear, though the system still has some kinks in it when it comes to locating Underwater Fauna.

 

The only trophies that are still a pain to get, are the 2 related to Surviving for X amount of Sols on Extreme Worlds - because you can't speed them up and they can't be cheated all that much (Extreme Sentinel Worlds count so you have a little more leeway in finding a suitable world) but Origins made them at lot more hazardous to get since you now to avoid Lava, Meteors and Lightning strikes (all of which will kill you almost instantly if you get hit by them) as well as the usual storms.

BTW, Cross-Save is coming with the 3.10 patch when that arrives on the same day as the PS5 comes out so there's a possibility of auto-popping the trophies. Also, the online trophy is now ultra easy to get and can be done within 3hrs of starting the game. The Permadeath trophies are also a complete joke to get and are easily boosted .

Would be just superb if it autopopped upon starting!

 

This game should have been class with the hype and promise it was built up to have, but in the end it was all fur coat and no knickers!

The 3.10 update is bringing the game up to what was promised 4 years ago and a lot more besides .

So will the PS5 version be digital? Will there a a PS5 disc? Will the PS4 disc play on the PS5 and if it does.....willl that play out on the PS5 trophy list?

If you own the PS4 digital game, you get the free upgrade via the store purchase you download. With disc, you simply use the current PS4 disc and the download will trigger the PS5 edition based on the title. The one thing not clear is whether you can force the PS5 to download the PS4 BC version of a game that has an upgraded edition or not? Like if you want to platinum the PS4 version first on your PS5 before you download the PS5.

You can just stay inside a base and leave the PS5 on to get this trophy if you are on the correct planet.

That's not so effective with the latest patch, because some building types are glitched and will let storms inside so can still kill you.

Its a game Ive had for ages but kept meaning to play it properly but never got around it so PS5 maybe the best time

Actually if you find a good planet with a big enough amount of roaming kill-on-sight sentinels it will still be considered extreme and building a few walls protects you from them without having to worry about storms, that's how I got it anyway.

That trick is also iffy, because sometimes the Sentinels will glitch into the building and kill you from underneath it whilst being unkillable themselves.

Yeah, the trophy list autopops when you load your ps4 save.

 

When you load up no mans sky ps4 there is an option to upload the save in game at the bottom of your list of saves (after hitting play game).

 

When you load up no mans sky on ps5 there is an almost hidden cloud icon after you hit play game underneath the different new game options (survival, permadeath, creative, etc). It's a little hard to see, but if you hit that it will load your save and then auto pop any trophies unlocked in the ps4 version.
