Trophy Thoughts?

Pretty easy. Got it in January and worst trophy imo is the honk honk one. It's pure rng and two of the girls took forever to spawn for me. Guess it won't be as much of a problem with reduced load times on ps5. Great game and none of it is bad. Would recommend for everyone to platinum.

Also since there was no difficulty at launch, it's pretty easy and I only died once on millenium tower dungeon. Secret boss is also easy. Beat him in like 3 minutes.

Good to know. What's the honk honk one about?

Nothing is missable, you basically don't need a guide for the game at all.  You can't select difficulty at the start, so you're just on "normal" difficulty at all times, and can't up the difficulty until you do NG+. As far as I've seen the stuff added with the NG+ DLC from the Japanese version is just in the game to begin with now.

Though that "True Final Millennium Tower" gold might be difficulty based.

It's not, it's the extra dungeon from the DLC that was added to the Japanese version, just moved into the main trophy list.

It's a reference to a mechanic in Dragon Quest, you basically find random spawning NPCs in 5 spots who you pay money to and it raises your personality stats each time. That would be basically the only thing anyone would have to look up, because there's not any way to know what the locations are without just finding them accidentally.

It's a trophy where you have to find 3(?) (maybe 4) girls around the cities who give you some bit of dialogue that I think is sexual or something. They are not guaranteed to be there which requires tons of reloading fast travel to try and get them to spawn. You just have to talk to them and they fill your health and magic meter I believe (maybe some XP too). Not hard at all, just annoyingly grindy if you have bad luck like I do. There are videos online but I think they're in Japanese so I don't know the names anymore.

Ha, I was really hoping it was a reference to the puff puff thing from DQ and now I'm delighted!

Aside from True Final Millennium tower everything is pretty easy.
By the way, True Final Tower isn't dungeon you get after the finishing the game, it's DLC dungeon you open after completing Final Millennium Tower (which itself is rather easy considering it's Amon's Domain). So get ready to grind job levels to 99, enemies there hit like trucks and you have to fight Amon with some of his buddies, not just him alone (like in Final Tower).

It will likely be DLC trophies. I think they said the DLC trophies will be there for the West.

DLC Trophies are already in the game, mate. True Final Millennium Tower was DLC trophy. You can compare trophies in Japanese release and Worldwide release, localized version has 1 extra.

I haven't been paying much attention to the game. When it says jobs is that similar to the Final Fantasy job system? If so I'd definitely play it much sooner.

Yes, it is pretty much the same job system like in plenty of JRPGs.

Oh you're right. I would've realized had I saw 3 silvers on this list and 4 in the Asian version

as long as it doesn't have the annoying Japanese board games requirements and the freaking Win Big at the casinos then it's an easy list, finally! a yakuza game that I can plat.

Yakuza 6 is pretty easy to Plat since you don't have to 100% the completion list.

They're in the game, but don't need to touch them at all if you don't want to.

"Someone got run over by a car in battle." is a funny description.  But I wonder how hard it is to trigger.  Like that one Heat action in Judgment where your opponent gets thrown into a car and drive away with them, that's really hard to trigger.

It's pretty random, you have to battle someone near traffic and manage to push them under a moving car with an attack.

Spoiler

The Super (True) Final Millennium Tower can be a pain in the ass.
