My first thought, is this going to retroactively unlock the trophies, or will we have to redo it but have new game+ unlocked from the start ?

Anyone else wondering if the trophies would carry over too?

I have the Plat and all the DLC trophies in the original and I'm thinking if I import my save, It could unlock all the PS5 trophies bar the new Remastered ones.

I was wondering the same thing. I was honestly looking forward to playing it from scratch after platinuming Miles Morales anyway, but I am curious.

 

I am looking to see what happens with other similar games where your upgrade is free and you can keep your save file. I think Borderlands 3 is one of those.

Yeah if this carried over trophies that would be nice but i have a feeling it won't so this could be useless anyway.

This is a relief, trophy wise. Being able to jump right into New Game+ will be great.

Doesn’t this mean the platinum will auto pop once save is loaded?

I'm not completely sure if this would end up as an auto plat as a lot of the trophies are completion based with a few takedown/combat trophies. Not saying auto popping is a bad or anything, but you could be looking at a very quick completion time. Though I suppose you could argue that's what the new trophies are for and it is undoubtedly good for anyone who is mid-way through the PS4 version.

No, I know how common it is. My point is that if they make it so if you load your PS4 save on the PS5, people will waste 20$ just for a quick platinum.

The 100% requires 2 full playthroughs, i bought the game to replay once so if it auto pops the main list and I can jump straight into NG+, I'm all for that.

I brought spider-man remastered. I want to play the game again. I am not even checking if it autopop the trophies as I want to earn the trophies. If it does autopop I might do it for the challenges in the dlc as I thought those were a pain to do.

I don't mind doing the platinum again, but I'm hoping that importing a save will let me start in New Game + so I don't need two full playthroughs for the 100%.

Wouldn't mind playing it again, just for the NG+ so this is nice to see. Same thing for No Man's Sky, perhaps it will be time to finally do the permanent trophy

Just played No Man's Sky for the first time in my PS5, and all trophies auto-popped.
