Dry_Plumbus
Hmmm I guess if I don’t ever use rest mode, and don’t use USB storage, and never touch the disk drive, I should be ok? Maybe I should wait for the next firmware update lol. Edited November 13, 2020 by Jables_The_Hutt

See a lot of people warning about using an ethernet cable, doesn't seem like that should be a factor, but who knows wow. never had a full freeze. I do think the majority of issues will be fixed in a quick update by next week i would imagine. Sony is probably taking into account all the problems coming up and working on a quick fix. They did this with ps4 at launch as well

It makes a sound for like five seconds when I first turn it on and then it's completely silent.

Yes but right now it seems to be people just guessing. On the PS5 reddit some people were advising against doing a system transfer through ethernet, and some even advising against ethernet altogether. All just anecdotal though
GT__Jedi
PS5 is pretty quiet (surprisingly), but does ramp up with some graphics. Pretty much like the PS4. Edited November 14, 2020 by PermaFox
