Local Multiplayer. How?

So, how exactly do you activate local multiplayer? I've been trying with a second controller, but it won't work. Nothing happens in game when I turn the second controller on. Ideas? Thanks!

You may need a second account on your system, before local co-op is possible.

In theory it should but it depends on how this game is coded, because it might not recognise anything other than a full account.

Even by using a second "real" account, the game still won't recognise my second controller.

Have you tried switching controllers in case one of them is faulty?

There is a bug. You need to close the game before logging in with the second account.

 

With the game closed, make sure that both accounts are logged into the console.  When you launch the game, you will then be able to press X to have the second player join the game
