CookeKeyes
Anyone have an idea how long this game is? I read somewhere it’s around 10 hours. If that’s the case, $40 seems a bit steep for such a short game.... It looks great, but that price is a bit of a hard sale.
TheBlaskar
tbh I expected it to be more like $20-$25 ...but at $40, $4 an hour for the quality that it seems to be isn't too bad if we look at it that way? Either way, ima wait for the price to drop a bit for sure
CookeKeyes
Wonder if it’s $40 because you get both the PS4 and PS5 version? Could be the reason, although most games that do that are doing it for free.
Fish613
There's a website called Howlongtobeat.com, that you can check out and see about how long any game takes to beat. So far (with little voting as of right now), it's looking like it takes 5-6 hours to beat.

I’m not really interested in any of the PS5 launch titles, and the game I am interested in doesn’t come out until December 3rd. So...I don’t have much to play after finishing Astro’s Playroom. ? Silverguise
It depends I guess. I'm 5 hours into the game and have only just beaten the second boss. I took my time to explore the first area after beating the first boss before moving on too. This kinda thing is subjective but this is one of the best games I have played all year. It is well worth the money to me.
Willr22
I guess it depends on how much you'll do in the game. If you're just shooting to beat the game from the get-go then it'll most likely run you maybe 6 hours. I've got all of the light stones, got each special gift from the 4 Tall Ones, as well as done probably 90% of the Lanterns (optional puzzles) and i'm running over 12 hours right now. I loved the game, relaxful and alot of fun to explore. Will be going back to Platinum the game.
CookeKeyes
I did end up buying it, and I think it’s a fantastic game. It took me about 15 hours to plat it, and I was taking my time. While I certainly don’t regret purchasing it, I still think it’s a bit overpriced. ? $25 to $30 would be the perfect price IMO. Also, I really wish it came with the OST as well, because it’s amazing. It’s by the same dude that did Journey: Austin Wintory. I definitely got some Journey vibes from it, but it also reminded me of Shadow of the Colossus.
IntrepidHunter
I got the plat, and it took me 13 hours to beat, but that was also with backtracking as the first two zones I just did minimal to move forward then decided at that point it was best to start completing rather than finding my way to backtrack. It was a good game, glad I got it, and glad to support a studio that makes games like this. I also agree, the soundtrack is phenemonal.
OathToOblivion01
Just entered the final plateau and encountered the godslayer, got my ass handed to me and lost a flap, anyway to get it back?
