davidstubbs
I've defeated three players so far after I've invaded them and still not gotten this trophy, I don't understand what the issue is. Is there a separate unspecified condition that I'm not meeting? Edited November 17, 2020 by davidstubbs
RyokuHD
There shouldn't be...I got this trophy pretty early on when I started. Maybe your character is glitched? Not sure. What steps did you do exactly?
davidstubbs
I've done actual damage to every person but they've each died due to gravity, but I still get the success screen and I gain human form again.
L0rdAceX
I think you have to deal the final blow and actually defeat your foe and not with gravity. I had the same thing happen to me. Edited November 18, 2020 by L0rdAceX

Domino_Destructo
Land the killing blow just like they say. It's a thing for NPC's if you want to shift your character tendency, so it's most likely the same for this trophy.
davidstubbs
My mistake for always invading on Ritual Path
RyokuHD
Do it on a new character. Invade 2-1. Easiest place imo, and low level people who generally don't know what they're doing.
FilmFanatic
You don’t need to land the killing blow. I invaded someone and they were killed by an enemy and I still got the trophy. I did it on 4-1 because new players will wander in there and not realise how tough those skeletons can be until it’s too late.
WreckitRoush
Is it possible to boost for this trophy and invade a specific person?
technole
I can certainly confirm you really need to land the "killing blow" and get a negative character tendency change. My first invasion the person ran away from me when they were almost dead and got killed by a mob, that didn't count, nor is that a character tendency change. Second one was the old monk black phantom, where it feels like half the people in this game just die on the way up. Those won't count, still has to be a kill. Fall deaths seem to be a certain no no, but with deaths by mobs, it seems to work in some ways, maybe you must invade them, or be near when the enemy kills them, maybe certain stage, certain tendency etc perhaps a few other variables Ive also read its not popped for some even after killing the invader..... Id be careful with 'confirmations' as it sounds a but buggy Bit of a annoying trophy nonetheless Edited November 19, 2020 by Optinooby

Chettlar
Yeah I had someone die to enemies, and then another a different invaded got the killing backstab. No trophy. It wasn't until I got the final blow on a guy that I got it. It popped instantly, like before his animation started as he was dying. Man the speed at which trophies pop is so jarring on PS5 haha.
