I earned far more Platinums this year than in any other year before! Been quite a busy year especially with the whole pandemic thing. Way up from my 51 plats last year. Seeing them in a list like this I hadn't realised how many I'd earned this year! I think my aim before the year is up will be Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Astro's Playroom, Bugsnax, Far Cry 3 [Classic Edition] and Detroit: Become Human. If I get the time through all this and other clean ups then maybe Marvel's Spider-Man [Remastered], Until Dawn, inFamous: Second Son and Maneater (PS5) too.

 

UPDATE: From the last post I've managed to add the plat for Astro's Playroom, Bugsnax, inFamous: Second Son and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Doubt I'll get the time to do Far Cry 3 [Classic Edition] but I'm hopeful Detroit: Become Human will be added (I keep getting swooped back into Red Dead 2!). I think Far Cry 3 [Classic Edition], Until Dawn and Maneater (PS5) will be moving into 2021, but I'll post more detail in that thread once it's out! ?

This has been my best year in terms of Plats/Trophy Hunting by a long shot. I honestly wasn't even that big of trophy hunter before this year. Yea I would go out of my way to earn some here and there, and before this year I had like 17-18 total dating back to 2015. I had planned on buckling down this year and working hard on clearing my backlog in preparation for PS5, and also trying to raise my overall completion percentage, which a have. (Started the year off at 47% and now I'm up to 59%) All while having NO time off during this pandemic, I've actually had to work more OT this year than ever before because of the rona. Hoping to end the year off with around 60ish plats in total including some PS5 plats I'm working on atm. Happy Hunting everyone ✊

Definitely my best year as far as sheer number of plats and not even all easy stuff since I got 2 UR plats and finally finished up FFX-2 after 6 years.  Mostly this year I had focused on getting my backlog down considerably.  I think this was the first year where my backlog on PSN actually got smaller rather than staying about the same or getting bigger.

Had a decent year of trophy hunting, better than any other year i've had thats for sure, managed to tick off the RDR2 plat which was a massive achievement, fell in love with the uncharted games for the first time and went a bit crazy platinuming them all in September/October. Plus I got to mess around with my gf's psvr which was a blast, managed to pick up a platinum using it too.

There’s no way I would rack up the games I’ve done this year were it not for COVID-19. Don’t have a working job, been socially isolated from everyone except a few select friends and family, been buying games on the cheap because I can’t afford the new PS5 console nor afford to pay $60 - 70 for new AAA games. 
 

My list is quite vast, so when I’m in the mood I’ll post everything I’ve done for platinum trophies and make a little note on each one.

Gravity Rush 2 - 84% complete, I just can't bring myself to mindlessly grind gems for the last couple trophies

Everybody's Golf (the regular, non-VR one) - 53% complete, couple of grindy trophies I'm not really excited to get

 

It's not an impressive list compared to most of the others in this thread, but considering I have 50 plats in 8 years and I got over 20% of them this year, I'm happy.
