I loved the soundtrack as is it became one of my favorite OST for any game. But with the announcement for RDR2 Online standalone approach, maybe they finally are releasing a new DLC and with that new trophies. So yeah, may be the most logical outcome is that they will add trophies for their two most sold games at the moment. But we will know until half-December when everything be set up. But I don't hope so, as I'm gonna be leaving my PS4 behind very soon (moving out to another country), and will only be able to play when I lay my hands on the PS5, in a few months. (with a double list) That will likely require a 2nd download while allowing you to keep the PS4 version. A PS5 version isn’t coming for some time now either. Don't get me wrong, I understand if you dont want to do new trophies on this game, but then why would you even care if there is new ones or not ? If there is new ones everyone is supposed to be happy no ? Those who still like the game will get new goals to achieve and those who don't want to play the game again could just ignore the update, no ? I'm personnally hoping for new trophies, the same kind of those we got for the doomsday heists, with elite and mastermind challenges. Many people did not like the trophies because they were glitched. Because they don't want to see their Completion Percentage lowered and their Unearned Trophy count increase. Not that there's a problem with that, we all have different personal goals when it comes to trophy hunting. I can agree with that. Then again I'm not sure anyone expected GTA online to turn out the way it did for the last 6-7 years. There are people who care more for the single-player component of these titles and played them based on that. I'm honestly surprised R* haven't completely spun this off into a standalone like with Red Dead Online. Still with the PS5 version coming, support for this edition will dry up and present a jumping off point for trophy hunters. As someone who first played this game 7 years ago on PS3 and 6 years ago on PS4 I think that I've had enough of GTA V right now, to get me interested in GTA again I'd rather see them make GTA 6 because it has been long enough now... I have other games to play but GTA V is probably gonna drag me back in after all these years. On top of that these are online trophies and the GTA Online community is incredibly toxic, people screaming down their mic, trying to fuck up your preps and so on, I can't be bothered spending another second interacting with this community. On top of that all of these heist packs have some kind of requirement in them that tries to entice you into spending real money otherwise you must grind for a high amount of money, not a problem for someone who kept playing but for someone who hasn't played for over 3 years I'd probably be forced into buying a shark card to avoid having to grind to start playing the heist. Right now I'm sitting on nearly $7million and I would hope it's enough if they tack on trophies for this heist. On top of that although there's a solo play option, this is best played with other people otherwise it'd be extremely boring, most of the people I played GTA V with over the years have moved on from it and couldn't be bothered to keep playing it so maybe I'd struggle to get a team and play this heist in the optimal way. All in all the game is popular enough to not need trophies and last year the Casino heist didn't get them so here's hoping the Cayo Perico heist won't get them either.
