Hello all, 

 

I wanted to make up a list of some of my trophy highlights and ongoing trophy struggles ?

 

I’d love to hear any advice on some of the games I’ve yet to finish, or suggestions on what to play next  

 

As of writing this, my stats are:

 

 

I’ll start off with a highlight, my ultra rare plats!
 

Ultra Rare Platinums:

Just picked up the PS5 so that will take up a lot of time but as the pool of PS5 games is relatively small, I’m planning on FFXV DLC next thanks to the PS+ collection! 
 

Games I’m planning on purchasing:

 

• Mortal Shell
• Ashen
•  Pyre
• Return of the Obra Dinn

 

Next up is the real rough spot of my account, the games I’ve yet to platinum or possibly never will!

 

Current Platinum Backlog:

 

• Battlefield 1 - 31% - need to do all the singleplayer 
• Sniper Elite 4 - 35% - need to finish on the highest difficulty 
• Unravel - 82% - need to clean up collectibles and deathless runs
• Monster Hunter World - 37% - where to start..... 
• Crash Tram Racing - 71% - oxide time trials and hard mode
• Crash 1 - 80% - about half the relics 
• Crash 2 - 90% - the same as above haha
• Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2) - 58% - all inventions and the last dungeon
• Call of Duty Infinite Warfare - 47% - zombie trophies
• Call of Duty Black Ops 3 - 35% - no death veteran run and challenges 
• The Playroom VR - 9% - barely started it (rarely play my VR)
• Until Dawn Rush of Blood - 75% - last three levels on hardest difficulty plus few more skittles 
• Rage - 82% - 5 finger fillet and online trophies 
• Diablo 3 - 69% (nice) - 2 more playthroughs and bounties grinding 
• Borderlands The Pre-Sequel - 53% - second playthrough 
• Battlefield 3 - 42% - co-op and a small bit of multiplayer 
• Metal Gear Solid 5 - 56% - mission cleanup 
• Dead Space Extraction - 21% - ugggggh 
• Grand Theft Auto IV - 67% - online 
• Outlast - 67% - two deathless runs 
• Journey - 33% - a lot of cleanup necessary 

 

Games I’ve completey given up on:

 

• Fall Guys - 91% - Not gonna bother with Infallible unless they change it
• Red Faction Guerrilla - 42% - Not gonna go back for the huge grind on this one
• Homefront - 72% - online is shutdown
• Evolve - 25% - online is shutdown 
• Fifa 09 - 57% - played it with friends but I don’t play football/ soccer games 
• Guitar Hero 5 - 25% - I have no guitar anymore 
• Crysis 2 - 80% - online is shutdown
• Don’t Starve - 85% - the last two trophies require a lot of work that I have no intention of attempting 
• Warframe - 35% - I played it a long time ago but am lost now
• PS VR Worlds - 54% - the remaining mini games are not good 
• Dauntless - 52% - yeah I’ve had enough

Quick update, I’ve just reached 250 plats, a pretty big milestone! Resi 8 as #250 and what a great game! Mercenaries mode took a few hours but nothings too hard. 
 

Notable progress since I first posted this: 

 

- Platinum for Battlefield 1 and the 100% for Diablo 3 and Outlast from my backlog

 

- Outlast was in prep for Resi 8. Such a scary game but probably my favourite pure horror game ever

 

- I crossed the 90% threshold for completion. My plan is to keep it up past 90%, never drop below it! 
 

- 2 Ultra rare plats with Worms Rumble (free on PS+, not amazing but a bit of fun) and The Last Guardian (easier than I expected but a fantastic game, definitely in my top 5 PS4 exclusives) 

 

Next milestone is 300 plats but I want to start focusing on ultra rare trophies. I’m on 186 now and would love to get a similar number of URs to plats... we’ll see  

 

Feeling a bit unsure what to play next, I’m working on Fall Guys are cheesing Infallible yesterday but I’m on the lookout for another big game to start off

You got a great collection going there, and congrats on the 250 plats and the 90% completion, i'm trying to get 80% and it's not easy. A game that would give another bump to your completion is Borderlands Pre Sequel, you are almost done with the base game, and the dlc's are pretty easy.
