big_bob002
It seems that some trophies require you to start a new game of the main campaign and do certain things as you play through? Other trophies can only be obtained by doing the content that starts 2 years after the main campaign? Is that right?
xDerErnst
the trials, as far as I know have to be done while playing through the normal game, depending on what the requirements are you don't necessarily have to play from the beginning (at least I think, don't quote me on it). the rest of the trophies are earned during the dlc. kaltezhan
I think there's a couple of trials that require a fresh start, but can easily be done within 2~3h into the campaign, if you speed up to the quest objectives.
l33sar54
The two trials you need to start a new game for are Trial of the Fool (Reach Skyhold at level 5 or less), and Trial of the Lovers (Enter Halamshiral with all followers). Both are a bit annoying but can be done with a bit of patience. The rest of the trials can be turned on and off at your leisure but there are two which require you to turn the trial on at certain points: before you claim the Suledin Keep (Trial of Temperance) and before you start the "In Hushed Whispers" quest (Trial of the Magician). If you don't have saves prior to these points, you'll have to start a new playthrough and keep them in mind. big_bob002
This ultimately didn't work too well. I didn't think to check the dlc trophy guides before playing the main game. Got the plat, did the other dlc first. Since I'd already killed the 2 dragons I'm on a new play through on casual. Trying to get high enough level to kill the dragon while having no potions. 30 hours so far.
