I played 5 loved the gameplay but never got to finish it. However, I always go back to YouTube videos of 1-4. Do you think it’ll be worth it to buy a ps3 to play these old games. I Bought one again this year to go back and play a bunch of stuff i couldnt play on ps4. Sometimes i boot up my ps3 to finish up some trophy lists and damn that 720p and sub 20fps is just torture. Word of advice, write a list of 10/+ games you would want to play on it and if its easy to do and you get way above 10 then go for it. If its just the Metal Gears you wanna play though, FYI 2/3/PW are on Playstation Now in the MGS Collection. If you only want to play a few games and already have a big backlog, then no. Also, I thought Metal Gear Solid, the first one, was a PSone Classic? I think it's not gonna last personally. PS3 physical games are super cheap anyway, often cheaper than the PS Store as no sales exist anymore. If you only plan on playing 3 or 4 games on it I think it's quite expensive that you buy a console for it, but there are so many other games you can play as well, I think you should buy it and find other games than MGS, you won't be disappointed! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
