VancoAnne Posted December 12, 2020 Share Posted December 12, 2020 Hi everyone, so this might be a stupid question but I’m planning on getting the PS5 and have been wondering this... I’ve got a few games that I still have to get the platinum on my primary account on the PS4 and was wondering if I could finish getting the trophies on the PS5 (like if the trophy progress will crossover or if it will count as a new list) or if it’s something that I’d have to finish getting them on the PS4. Joseph_Lapp_DW Posted December 12, 2020 Share Posted December 12, 2020 Short answer: Yes you can continue your PS4 game with your save and still complete your PS4 trophy list Longer answer: PS4 games with no native PS5 version still use the PS4 list when playing them on PS5. PS4 games that have a native PS5 version upgrade you'll just want to make sure you are playing the PS4 version on your PS5 which is easy to check when you get the hardware.
