Story and Episode Select Freezing problem

HI, I need your help. I was playing the Game Disc Release version. I was playing Episode 4 when halfway though the episode, the game got stuck and when I tried to enter the episode select screen just to continue Episode 4 after restarting both PS3 Console and the game, the game got stuck again at Episode Select as well. I don't want to delete my save progress and start all over again. I just don't know what to do to fix this problem. Can anyone help me out with my freezing problem? Please Reply Me Soon.
