Game breaking glitch, can't dive

I have played many games and I never had a glitch like this before.  Halfway through the game the dive button doesn't work anymore. I switched controllers, reset the game,then I reset the PS4 and nothing. I even deleted the game and reinstalled it and still nothing. The weird thing is though, I can dive in the tutorial, which makes absolutely no sense at all. So the dive works but only in tutorial so now it is almost impossible to get past leviathan.  Anybody else have this problem and if so how did you fix it?
