If you're also a trophy hunter then you probably get annoyed at grindy trophies like this one. I was able to get 2,000 kills in approximately 30 minutes by doing the following: 

 

Recruit-Act 3-Road to hell

Cleaner-Holly

Cards-Mandatory PT, battle lust, face your fears, meth head, batter up, energy drink, ignore the pain, berserker, cross trainers, brazen, and super cardio.

 

Join a match and look for the exploder head mutation card, found when this card is there then you'll less likely run into poison ridden. If there are poison ridden then quit and create new run. Once you get the level without poison ridden then the next step is to restart the run until you spawn with all bots. Then just run through until you get to the gauntlet and stay in the first section and hack away with the bat. The exploding zombies don't damage you through the bars so you'll always stay at full health and cards will make it almost impossible to run out of stamina. If bots are taking kills, try running down to the gate and then back. They will usually start to focus fire on the gate instead of your section. Repeat when necessary.

You can also try T5 8-5 and use barbed wire on the stairs, Then camp near one of the bedrooms and kill any mutations. Also you will need around 14 or 15 barbed wire. And you should play Hoffman with Offensive inventory cards. You can use a continue if you need more copper.
