Popular Post Hotcheezz
Insomniac's Marvel Spider-Man came out back in 2018 and was highly praised thanks to its original story, a memorable cast of characters, fantastic gameplay, and so much more. For any Spiderman fan, it’s almost a no-brainer to want to experience such a journey to Platinum. But is this a title that’s worth it to the average gamer? Collectibles: Collectibles are straightforward for the most part making them almost relaxing. I went ahead and worked on all of them after each unlock. Simply just mark it on the map and web sling right over rinse and repeat. A process I really appreciate in titles such as this. Challenges: Challenges are the biggest part of this trophy progress for spiderman. Crime alerts, chasing birds, stopping pollution, attacking hideouts, etc. Completing these challenges along with the story mode became the most effective due to getting almost all of the unlockable skills and the resources needed to buy suits, this led to being almost done with all unlockables at the 2nd half of the game. Some challenges do require specific skills, however, it's fairly easy to level up so doing activities such as street crimes and side missions should definitely help. Taskmaster Challenges: For the most part bases, street crimes, side missions are all pretty straightforward. But Taskmaster challenges might be a little tricky, for the trophy "Challenge Finder" the player will have to at least complete every challenge regardless of the score. However, after completing each challenge the player has rewarded a certain amount Taskmaster tokens based on three different tiers of the score. In order to unlock the trophy for buying all suits, some suits require these tokens to unlock. Now taskmaster challenges give scores based on time and overall skill from the player. How fast can the player web-sling across the map to capture a drone without getting stuck on a building, how high of a combo can the player keep without getting hit, a lot of things are considered? My recommendation, getting gold on all stealth, drone, and bomb challenges. These challenges are the easiest to develop a method where the player can complete these trials in the best way possible. Getting gold on these three types should give more than enough tokens to buy upgrades and suits needed. How many Playthroughs: Now this is a title that can definitely be done in one playthrough. If the player just simply does everything throughout the game, every unlocks, side mission, challenge, to put it simply just play the game Platinum Difficulty: Overall this game was pretty straightforward when it came to doing everything that was needed for these trophies. I had a great time with most of these trophies with a few challenges. The third act of the game was where the grind for the final trophies really got a bit tougher. The entire city was in shambles and I had to dodge gunfire every 5 seconds. The sable agents became a bit of a hassle and could overwhelm the player if not careful. Completing all of their bases was definitely a feat compared to the prison camps due to the less variety of enemy types for the fugitives. Completing the rest of the crime alerts throughout Manhattan became very draining due to the number of alerts each district had. Just use fast travel which is pretty much instant on PS5 and this is also required for the "Born to Ride" trophy which needs you to ride the subway 5 times. So throw on some music or a podcast and these crime alerts should feel like a breeze. Amount Of Time: According to PSNprofiles.com, based on a trophy guide it would take the average player about 25 hours in order to achieve platinum. For me personally, it took 32 hours this is without using a guide while playing other titles. Is it worth it? : This leads to the final question is worth it? I feel like Spiderman is the title that has an almost perfect balance between challenge and fun when completing these trophies. If the player loves this title chances are they're going to want to do everything this game has to offer including getting platinum. Along with a fantastic story and memorable gameplay and moments, there's a reason why the amount of players that did achieve this is so high. I would recommend this title to just about any type of player, especially fans.
