Can't get beyond question prompts upon starting the game

Hi all,

 

This might be a bit of a long shot, but we're a great community, so lets try.  I've picked up believer for the trophy hunting lolz. 

 

It's installed just fine on the PS Vita, has installed an empty row of trophies in the trophy app but keeps on asking me two questions upon starting the game.  I've tried both answers (naturally I don't read Japanese so no idea what they say) but they keep looping round and round.  I've re-started the device, and deleted old games off the memory card but to no avail.  Would anyone have any ideas?  I believe the version I've purchased is region free.
