Crispy trophy earned but not showing on PSN - solved

Something I ran into with an easy fix. Maybe it'll help someone down the road.

 

TL;DR: Reset your console

 

Scenario: I manually set my system's time to 5pm and got the Crispy trophy (the toast one). The game showed 13/13 trophies (Crispy as 12th and then plat as 13th). Then when I changed my time back to my local time, the trophies went back to 11/13. I tried resetting the time again and also re-earning the trophy with a different save but no luck with either. Eventually, I just reset the console and everything showed correctly on PSN.

 

YMMV since this was done on PS5 and I went forward in time, not back, to set things as 5pm. Once trophies synced finally, they showed the local time correctly and not the future time.
