I have a curious question about what contributes to your ranking entirely

Recommended Posts

As far as I know your trophy totals for the most part do. I have a low trophies per day ratio because I left PlayStation for a few years and was a relaxed trophy hunter when I got back into it early on. I've been a trophy hunter since around 2012. What I'm actually asking is do trophies per day really go that much into your rank? I can't see it getting better for me if that is the case.

this proportion contributes absolutely nothing to your ranking position.

if you haven't earned trophies since 2012 but you earn 1000 trophies in a month now and rank up quickly, your ratio will increase slightly while your ranking will increase much more.

"what contributes to your ranking entirely" is solely the points acquired by trophies, therefore more trophies and platinum = more positions achieved. ?

Each trophy you earn has a point value. Bronze are worth 15 points. Silver are worth 30 points. Gold are worth 90 points. Platinum are worth 300 points.

Add them up, that’s how many points you have. Your trophy points determine your ranking. Nothing else.
