Pretty Girls Breakers adds a cute and adorable ingredient to the classic brick breaker genre! In this arcade-style action puzzle game, you'll take on the role of a twin-tailed fighter wielding a lightsaber. You must accurately hit the balls that are approaching you to destroy the block structures on top, while avoiding enemy attacks and collecting power-ups that will grant you various advantages.

 

Throughout more than 20 demanding levels, you will have to adapt to new blocks and new types of enemies, creating strategies to be able to eliminate them all within the allotted time and trying not to lose your hearts. As you complete levels, your friends' outfits will gradually change. If you are successful in battle, new outfits will be revealed and unlocked in Costume mode for you to view whenever you like. You can move your character left and right with the left stick and hit the ball with the X and Circle. The objective of each stage is to remove all breakable blocks and defeat all enemies.

 

You have 5 lives and a time limit. If any of them reaches zero, you will fail the stage. You lose lives when you get hit with lasers or the ball rolls past your character to the bottom of the screen.

Various power-ups will drop and you just have to move your ship towards them to pick them up. In the later stages, you will find enemies with an HP bar. Empty the bar by hitting them with power-ups or the ball and they will be defeated.

 

Start with Aoi, complete all 3 stages for her, then do the same for Nazuna (first 3 stages only), Sumire (first 3 stages only), and Tsubaki. You will have unlocked Sherira. Complete its first 3 stages and the platinum is yours!

 

Here are some tips to help you with your game:

- The trajectory of the ball is based on the location of your ship and not so much on the angle at which you hit it.
- Always try to collect power-ups. Power-ups can temporarily cause you to fire lasers, give you an extra ball, slow down the ball, lengthen your weapon, give you a bomb you can throw upwards, and more.
- Hitting the ball with the tip of your weapon will build the power meter on the left. This results in more powerful shots that will do more damage to blocks and enemies.
- Lasers can be returned to destroy enemies and blocks. They will damage you if they hit you.
- There are times when there are lasers and balls all over the screen as you get to the more difficult stages.
- Remember that spamming circle/X is a very useful tactic until things settle down. Sometimes it's better to worry about survivability than the placement of the ball.
