This new version is titled as The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition and it is coming to PS4 with enhancements for PS5. ? PlayStation Game Hub: https://store.playstation.com/concept/10002918 Q: Will it be Free? A: No, The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition is an enhanced version of the old one. Therefore, it will be sold $40 / €40 / £35 / ¥4000. Q: Will there be any pre-order benefits?A: There is no pre-order but there will be an Early Bird promotion (in-game cosmetics and tool packs) within two weeks after the release. Q: Will there be any physical release?A: No, but it might be considered in the future. For time being it is digital-only release. Q: I have the previous version can I download it free?A: No, This version has a new SKU and therefore it will be treated as a separate new game. And the new game will be listed on another PSNProfiles page. Q: Will there be DLCs or micro-transactions?A: There are no longer any micro-transactions or P2Win mechanics. Freeman Dollars and the Black Market remain but the economy has been redesigned for a premium experience. DLC in the future could include content and cosmetics. Q: Can I transfer my old save?A: No, old saves are under protection of Sony and the new version will be a separate game from the original release due to privacy laws with the license transfer from Sony. Q: Can I complete my missing trophies?A: No. Old version is retired and old servers are decommissioned by Sony. Q: Will there be a Platinum Trophy with this new version?A: Yes. TTC Phoenix Edition will feature a Platinum Trophy with many new trophies. Q: Will there be any ports to other platforms?A: No. It is only on PlayStation EcoSystem. But the devs said that if the game's re-launch goes ok they would consider a PC port. Q: Can I play online/offline.A: Yes. This is the major difference from the previous one. Game's online model has been changed to P2P system. Therefore, everyone can host his/her own town to play it offline or can go online and invite players (with a code) to his/her town. Also, you can simply join others' online public towns. Q: Do I need PSPlus to play it?A: Yes and No! If you play it offline/solo PSPLus is not needed. If you play it online PSPlus is required. This is Sony's policy. Q: How many players can play it online?A: The town limit is around 10. Q: Can I see other players during gameplay?A: TTC is an asynchronous game meaning that you won't be able to see online players unless they perform an action around you. But the player visibility options are improved in this version. Also, you can whistle to see players around you.
