Royal Edition on PS Plus Extra cannot access any of the DLC's

It seems that the 'Royal Edition' advertised on the Extra catalogue, downloads as the basic day one version, and you can't use ANY of the DLC that supposedly comes with it. You can download it, but the game never register it. As of this moment according to reddit threads, some other games affected by this are Marvel's Spider-Man Game of the Year and Control Ultimate Edition that downloads as the basic version. There seems to be no workaround for this, and no response from Sony or PlayStation. Any thoughts on if this is ever going to be fixed as apology for an honest mistake or just a bad move in advertisement for getting more extra subs.


Update:

- Apparently in some cases this is fixed by restoring the licenses on the console. Select Settings > Account Management > Restore Licences.

- Other potential solution is to search the game on the store through a website or on the app and select add to console on the add-ons, though it seems to only work in certain region (NA, EU) stores.

Have you tried accessing the dlc from the ‘downloadable content’ option on the title screen? That’s how I was able to access it.
