Boosting with 2 accounts on 2 different consoles?

Hi there,

after getting trouble to find someone in online-matches on the normal way, i thought about to try "self-boosting"

I have the Ultimate Edition installed on PS5 with my main account and the UE on PS4 with my wife`s account.

I tested simultaneous with both consoles on 1 TV ( per switching the source) and it worked.
I can send invites from PS5 to PS4 and from PS4 to PS5 but it won`t let me start a private session.
My question at this time: Is crossplay possible at all between PS4 and PS5 or would it work with another PS4 and 2nd account?

Cross-gen multiplayer doesn't apply here since the version you have is a PS4 download only, a PS5 version doesn't exist. I've just tested it now and I was able to create and play an online private match flawlessly between My primary account on the PS5 and alt account on the PS4. WB servers for this game have been unreliable for a while so that could be it.
