Beware the Monty Golf Elevator

Just got the platinum for the game and decided I would come on here to warn current and future players of something. I surprisingly only had two crashes throughout my entire playthrough and they both happened at the exact same place: the Monty Golf elevator. One of the crashes happened at 6 AM just after I had shattered Monty and before I could save at the only available save station. This was obviously very frustrating, so I searched up if other people had encountered the same issue and found a solution that helped me and may help you too. After entering the elevator and pressing the button inside, open the Faz Watch and continuously scroll through your messages. Don't back out of the Faz Watch until you hear the elevator music stop so you know you're safe. I know the forum for this game is pretty dead but hopefully this post will be helpful to whoever stumbles upon it.
