Aznjesus990
Question: Should I play all three ME games on a lower difficulty and then play all 3 on insanity or should I stagger it (like play ME1 on Veteran and then Insanity and then move on to ME2)? KentisPL
I would honestly recommend to go for insanity straight away. ME1 on insanity is quite easy (easier than original) and importing your character into the later games gives you a nice lvl boost at the start (especially ME2 -> ME3). However, if you're already set on playing the trilogy more than once then I would play all 3 and then go through them again. This way you can make your choices, see how they impact later games and then go back and do things different way.
Aznjesus990
Follow up question: How does the ME2 Import work? I already started ME1 on vet and planned on doing the insane run later. If I were to say do the insane run right after the ME1 vet run, will that mess up the import to ME2? Should I have a backup save ready for my vet run to import into my ME2 game? For the insane run, I plan on skipping all the side quests and go straight story. For the vet run, I do everything.
Suporex
import is about decisions you made, nothing to do with difficulty or your character class. you can change them between games.
