Mother Miranda Village of Shadows Tip

I came across a strategy I hadn't thought of or seen before for the Mother Miranda fight on Village of Shadows. I did my run using the infinite ammo perk and used the S.T.A.K.E to do the most of the damage but I tried using the Grenade Launcher with flash rounds and was pleasantly surprised to find the flash rounds stun Miranda in her "Human" or "Flying" forms (it did not seem to be effective in her "Spider" form). If you time your reloads and shots right, shooting a flash round will even stop the lava orbs from forming and launching in addition to stunning Miranda in her flying form. A flash round even makes Miranda skip her "dark world" mini-phase where the arena goes dark.

 

Even with this strat it took me about an hour and a half to down Miranda. I got lucky and transitioned to the end of the fight one hit away from death. 

 

I just thought I'd share in case my finding could help anyone else get through the fight.
