Tip for people who have the Shanghai mission freeze

In the Shanghai mission on the campaign, on ps3, there is a point on the story where you need to ride a helicopter and someone gets shot, and you then have to defend the helicopter. What happens here is that if you die, the ps3 tries to respawn you but instead it freezes in the spot eternally. Black screen and the white bar throbber at the corner.

This isn't a hard-lock and it's possible to avoid this from happening. Simply put, yes, you will have to play the campaign from the beginning of shanghai, if you're unlucky from the beginning altogether, but the way you avoid this is, by simply not dying.

You will have to be very careful on this part, avoid dying at all costs, get rid of them. Once you feel it's safe (play it safe here in particular), you will have to go back into the building. Eventually you will get another checkpoint ahead and you will not have to face these problems again. Well, I didn't experience any similar ones after, it seems to be that one in particular.

PS: For platinum on the online side of missions, I would suggest you change the screen resolution from 1080p to 480p. The game will look worse but you will get an fps boost, up to 30fps which seems to be the cap they put. The reason why this is useful is because the game will feel a lot more easier, easier to pull moves around, your actions will occur earlier and such.
