Advice to Encounter Rare Neos (for Ancient Problems-Modern Solutions)

Try turning off Cross-Play. 

Neosaurs can't spawn into the game when there is even one person to low of a level to have unlocked Neosaurs. I was constantly paired up with low-leven PC players in my or enemy-team.

 

Turning off Cross-Play will make it so it takes a while to find a match, but it will then throw you in a match with a few other Playstation Players and Bots. Idk why all the PS players I encountered like this where high level but I worked every single match. Did this for around 2 hours and didn't have a single match without Neosaurs, even some rare ones like Evoker and Pyro.

Like this I was finally able to encounter a Umbra Neosaur and pop the Trophy today. Little Siedenote, in those matched was also almost every match a Trigger Neosaur, even tho it always spawned for the enemies because being bots, they where obviously slower.

There maybe some merit to this. Within 30 min I got the Volcano level for the first time, something I never saw in 100 matches. No Cryo or Umbrals but it’s a start, lol.

 

And yes, every stage had Neosaurs.

this method worked for me in the first found volcano match, played 130+ games with level 1 xbots, i think at least 30% of the games i played it was someone's first mission
