Unyielding Fighting Spirit Won’t Pop

Hey guys, I am playing this game on PS Plus streaming and this trophy will not pop:

 

“Unyielding Fighting Spirit!
Clear any single LEVEL with one ship and no bombs.（All game modes/Any difficulty/No DUAL“

 

I went to options and set ships to one and bombs to 0, then I finished a level in both overkill mode and boss rush mode and the trophy does not pop. 
 

Another trophy site says to download the game and not install the latest patch, but I don’t believe this is possible because I’m playing it on the streaming catalog.

 

I notice people are still earning this trophy in recent achievers so can anyone tell me how they achieved it?
 

EDIT: trophy unlocked today using overkill mode/double play on the first level
