Death from random explosions during communications tower ascent

I’m going for my Fox rank run on the Japanese version of the game, and I’m stuck at the communications tower for the weirdest reason. When I’m running up the stairs, I throw my stun grenades at the regular intervals to get up, but EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail, I die from a random explosion on the midpoint walkway. It’s at different points along the walkway depending on how I throw my stun grenades, but I just can’t get past it no matter what I try. It’s an instant kill and I obviously can’t use my rations because of Fox rank. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get past it? I just want to get past this damn section😫

I am so stupid. Forgot to get rid of the time bomb🤦🏼‍♂️

Have you checked your inventory to see if Ocelot planted a T.Bomb in your gear before you retrieved it, this caught me out before and it can explode around that spot.
