Whip-Splash Trophy Glitched?

I've thrown multiple enemies into the Sotenbori river using the Spider gadget and the trophy isnt unlocking. Has this issue happened to anyone else? Do I need to do a different river? Potential glitched trophy?

It just popped for me after about the 4th guy so just keep at it if anyone else has the same issue.

Popped for me at the first try. you probably just missed the river

I had to do it a few times too. Definitely didn't miss the river, you can hear the splash.

I got it first try. If anyone needs a good method to do it: go to either the north or south river area and lure the enemies toward the grassy part then quickly go to the small stairs so that the enemy is at a higher elevation than you and have your back face the river and then use the gadget to grab the enemy and pull the enemy behind you.

I can also confirm, that the trophy popped for me after the third or fourth guy I threw into the water. But it could also be that grabbing and throwing them killed them before they landed in the river, so maybe it didn't count then?!
