Chapter 9 / Colosseum question

I just beat the Hell House part of the Chapter 9 colosseum story. I noticed for the Returning Champion, it said this:

 

"Also, right after beating the Hell House is the only moment where you can use Aerith to complete her challenge, so do so. It will be necessary later on for Ultimate Weapon."

 

I haven't tried going back to continue (stopped playing after the colosseum got unlocked after the win). Could someone explain this a little more as there's no indication of any missable trophies

When the colosseum unlocks in chapter 9, there are initially 3 new challenges: one for Cloud, one for Aerith, and the third is for any 2 people in your party. It's recommended to go back down and do Aerith's challenge now, as chapter 9 is the ONLY time you can do her challenge.

 

While the colosseum is available again in a later chapter, Aerith does not participate at that later time. 

 

Completing all of the colosseum challenges is necessary in order to unlock all of the Shinra VR challenges. 

 

So make sure you do Aerith's before you return to the Madame, as otherwise you would have to replay most of chapter 9 again via chapter select to get back to the colosseum.
