Can’t paint in the basement?

Can’t paint while pressing L2 it’s glitched in the basement quest to paint walls

Yeah, I’m stuck at the same point. I’ve tried pressing different buttons and all colours of paint but can get it to work.  The latest patch didn’t fix this, so hopefully a future one will.

I also noticed you haven’t unlocked the “Mr. or Ms. Clean” trophy. This should unlock after you clear all the rubbish into the bin in the basement, prior to trying to paint the walls. If you have a save from the start of the basement level I’d try reloading it to see if it unlocks correctly if you remove all the rubbish again.
