SEGA posted a shiny new trailer this week showing off more summer updates to the Japanese version of Phantasy Star Online 2.

The trailer details… honestly, I’m not 100 percent sure, since it’s all in Japanese: the game isn’t due out in the West until 2013. According to Siliconera, though, the recent updates add to the ongoing story quests where you find parts of a mysterious weapon to reassemble.

The quests take you from the planet Lillipa to the Land of the Dragons, a floating continent filled with all things dragon-y and lizard-like. There’s also new costumes and a White Rappy in the update, which are shown off in the video.

This is part of a larger update called the “Soaring Crystal Dragon,” and should be the last of the set. The previous update on Aug. 8 included new swimsuit costumes, and new enemies.

Phantasy Star Online 2 will launch in 2013 in North America and Europe for PCs, and later on in the year on the PS Vita.
