Cotton Seeds

I need to get cotton to progress further, I ahve yet to find any on the meteorites and the only info I've found is that they can be bought from a trader called chef but all I've had is Locke level 12 now with 2k coins after just mining rocks whilst waiting. So far I've gotten Cabbage, Sunflower, Oak and Watermelon seeds.

 

 

EDIT: Okay figured it out you have to talk to Locke to start a quest that leads to getting cotton.
