It was a God-damn revolution, one of the most ambitious games ever released, though one that's sadly been almost forgotten in the years since. So it's about time for a comeback! The founders of the original game's development studio, Yann Robert, Franck Sauer and Yves Grolet, have bought the rights to game off Atari, with the aim of reviving the franchise. This is possibly the best news you will hear all week. Seriously, look at the video above. In terms of open world design, enemy AI and visuals, it was lightyears ahead of its peers. Can't wait to see a more modern treatment. I...don't know what to say. I didn't pay nearly as much attention back then as I do now, so I totally skipped over this back then. Looks like it was pretty amazing though.
Yengoshi
Yeah its a good game, though its been years since I last played it. I have the original discs somewhere but its a pain to get working on newer systems as it tends to un-install itself. But I hope they re-release the original perhaps on PS3 first so everyone can catch up on the storyline first.
