Nisay75
Hello guys, do you have any tips to finish, easier, every song in megastar ? I've only finished one song in megastar.
Popular Post DodeKonijn
Hey Nisay75, I know this is super late but I just got my Platinum today over many months and using just my phone so its definitely possible. Megastar is definitely the hardest trophy cause you actively need to be trying unlike some others like the Level 100 trophy which you can get by just playing the game. Do keep in mind to focus on only the main songs, since the alternatives aren't counted for the trophy. Here are some general tips on what I did: 1) Make a playlist full of the songs that needed to be Megastarred. Remove them once you've hit Megastar on them, the smaller list will help give you an easier sense of progression. 2) Make sure you learn the Golden moves no matter what, they contribute somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-600 to your score so they can be crucial in certain songs. When there were songs that I was having trouble with and I missed a Golden move, I would immediately restart since all I would be doing if I completed the song would be tiring myself out which would make it harder to get all the moves in my next run (though if you still have Level trophies or collectibles to get then it may be more worth it to finish the song). 3) If there's a specific move you're having trouble with and you feel as though you are doing it right but the game isn't picking it up, then experiment with different hand motions till you get a consistent hand motion that gets you perfects. Unfortunately, there's no way to scrub through specific sections of a song so you might have to go through songs a lot, but this can also passively help you gain levels or collectibles. 4) Don't overexert yourself, if you're feeling frustrated on a particular song after doing it multiple times it may be better to either take a break or stop playing entirely. Since this is a game where you can physically get tired and thus that can affect your score, it's better not to push yourself to the point of exhaustion cause that might affect you later (trust me I wish I had learned this sooner). 5) Make sure to pay attention to the specific placements and movements of hands if you're a Phone player since the starting and ending position seems to be taken into account when the game decides whether you get a Perfect or an Okay. If you're still not getting it after the placement is correct then try increasing the force with which you do the move to see if that gets you there. 6) This is kind of a no-brainer but avoid playing on sweat mode because for some reason it doesn't show your score after the song, so you'd have to scroll all the way down to wherever your song was to find out. 7) Finally, just try to have a good time, the game is a good source of exercise which is a plus and on some nights when I didn't get the Megastar on a song I've been repeating multiple times, playing a song I enjoy helps me not want to throw my Phone through the TV. I wish you all the best in your trophy hunting, not sure if anybody will respond to this with questions but if they do I'll reply with any answers I can think of. Have a great time!
Nisay75
Hello DodeKonijn, I just saw your message. I'm sorry. However thank you very much for your tips. I will try, soon, to get the platinum after 1 year of break because I remembered that game frustrated me.
