RC Baron Race - Crashes Every Single TIme

I've encountered a crash that will prevent me from the 100%. Every time I do the RC Baron race, it crashes at the 5th or 6th checkpoint every time. I tried saving it in a different spot, backing up my save on the cloud, deleting the save and replacing it. I tried doing it with no cheats activated. I let the other RC planes pass me before I hit the checkpoint. I think I've exhausted all my options.

 

Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this/found a fix for it.

 

If not, no worries. I just don't wanna go for all the other trophies I haven't got yet if there's no chance I could platinum it.
