Trophies not popping?

I have had two instances where trophies should've popped but haven't.

First with sign a driver with level 15 or higher acclaim. I sign Hamilton who was level 19 at the time and nothing.

Next was fully upgrading one R&D tree which I heard you need to wait until the end of the race weekend it was completed. Did that and still nothing.

Wondering if anyone is having the same issues and has any possible solutions.
